Examples of how to eat more protein
If you’re struggling to eat more protein - or more protein that fits into your macros - allow me to introduce you to the gallery of protein options. These are things I eat either daily or several times per week. These are actual photos of things around my house that makeup 80% of the protein my diet.
I will say that if you are not eating casein protein, this is the easiest way to boost your protein intake by 25-30g daily in one delicious shot.
Here’s what I eat every night around 8pm:
40g Legion casein (dutch chocolate or cinnamon cereal flavor) + 225g vanilla unsweetened almond milk.
Stir this up until it reaches the consistency of pudding. Leave it in the fridge for 5 minutes.
Top with two crumbled graham cracker sheets.
You can add anything as a topping (cereal, pretzels, and graham crackers are my favorites), but just don’t go nuts here. I’d aim for 25g of carbs max for planning purposes.
